To make sure our undies are comfy and skin-friendly, we have refined our own underwear designs to be as gentle on the skin as possible.

What are some of the ways we have refined our underwear specifically for sensitive skin?

Softer Material

Soft on sensitive skin

The material we use for our undies is the first major aspect we’ve addressed to create underwear for sensitive skin. The fabric is constantly in contact with skin, making the fabric choice critical to a comfy and irritation-free pair of undies.

The fabric we are using is an extra soft and breathable cotton blend – it’s made with 90% cotton and 10% elastane to achieve a great balance between stretch, breathability and comfort.

Our cotton blend material is made in Australia to a high-quality standard, this fabric is the softest we could get our hands on.

Softer Threads

No scratching on sensitive skin

One common cause of skin irritation can be hard and scratchy threads pressing against the skin. Since the seams are often located in particularly sensitive areas such as the inner thigh around the leghole, we found it important to address this for our customers.

All of our underwear uses a fluffy extra soft textured thread in lieu of the “standard” rough spun polyester. The fluffiness of the thread reduces scratching on the skin and reduces irritation. This makes our underwear a great choice for those who find their standard undies uncomfortable and scratchy.

Elastic-free designs

Reduce pressure on sensitive skin

One common source of skin sensitivity can be the pressure of elastic on the skin. Some underwear styles with tight and thin leg bands can cause irritation as the pressure on the skin is high. The extra pressure on the skin particularly around the thigh can exacerbate existing skin conditions.

Our elastic-free designs aim to provide an option that eliminates this problem. A wider and elastic-free band around the waist and legs reduces the pressure on the skin dramatically.

The wider leg bands on our elastic-free designs help to distribute the force that holds your undies on over a larger area. This more than halves the pressure on the sensitive inner thigh in comparison with a “standard” narrow leg band of the same fit and style.
