How 1 Shirt Makes 50 Aussie Jobs

It all starts with you… it really does.

Your choice to purchase an Aussie-made garment goes a long way to supporting Aussies in a wide variety of jobs and roles.

A Quick Summary

To help you see the impact you can make, we’ve created a short summary:

How 1 Shirt Makes 50 Aussie Jobs

Fabric Manufacturers

We choose to use Aussie-made fabrics as much as possible. Aside from supporting local jobs, the fabric is much higher quality than other imported fabrics – it’s a win-win as we support local, and our customers get better quality garments!

By sourcing fabric locally, we can help support:

  • Machine operators
  • Maintenance/technician staff
  • Quality control workers
  • Fabric manufacturing experts

Dyehouse Workers

Where there’s fabric, there’s dye! Just down the road from our fabric manufacturer, there’s a dye house making our fabrics colourful.

By having our fabric dyed locally, we can help support:

  • Dye machinery operators
  • Maintenance/technician staff
  • Dye lab techs

Clothing Designers

Our clothing is designed locally in-house by our team of talented designers. Our team has an eye for design detail, and is keen to create comfortable designs that Aussies will love.

Our designers work together with fit models to make sure we can get the best fit possible for many different shapes and sizes.

Sewing Machinists

All of our garments are made locally in our workshop. Our sewing team cuts the fabric into pieces, and sews them together with love and care.

The machinists sew each and every detail including the care labels, which are also made locally in Melbourne.

Artists

Many aspects of our clothing is touched by talented artists, and transformed into beautiful prints and patterns.

Whether it’s a fabric pattern, a shirt print, or graphic design and editing, our team of skilled artists get the job done.

Many others…

There’s a lot of other jobs that go on in the background, that are important in getting your Aussie-made garments to you.

From pickers and packers, accountants, marketers, couriers – there are loads of people that help your Australian-made clothing get made and on its way to you.
